Treatment of wastewater and waste gases: The basis of research work is represented by searching for and studying of procedures of wastewater treatment. Research into waste gases is focused into particle treatment and thermal treatment of waste gases.

Combustion engineering: We study the combustion process in terms of preventing harmful emmisions. We research the influence of composition of fossil fuels on the emmisions. In the framework of our in-house CFD code we develop novel combustion models.

Waste management: We focus on the mechanical-biological and thermal treatment of municial and industrial waste. We try to develop waste management procedures with economical and energetic waste usage.
